Canada's Green Lentil Exports Record Improved Oucome
PANAMA - Jun 4/20 - SNS -- At this point in the current marketing year posted a stronger performance, with green lentil shipments from Canada jumped relative to the previous month in April, according to recent statistics from Statistics Canada.
Movement reached 42,876 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 38% from the 31,072 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 287,318 MT, compared to 354,671 during the previous marketing year.
United Arab Emirates was the biggest importer for the month, receiving 7,605 MT. Morocco was the second most important importer taking 5,426 MT, followed by India at 5,077 MT.
