Kazakhstan's Sunflower Seed Exports Post A Firm Performance
PANAMA - Jun 3/20 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year posted a a stronger performance, with sunflower seed export shipments for Kazakhstan jumped compared to the previous month in March, according to available data from The Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Shipments during the month reached 28,932 metric tons (MT), up from 20,703 MT the prior month. This increased movement so far during the calendar year to 77,335, down 43% last year.
Uzbekistan was the largest destination, taking 14,487 MT. China was the second most important importer taking 12,670 MT, followed by Turkey at 989 MT.
