Birdseeds Mostly Unchanged
PANAMA - May 29/20 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were mostly unchanged in seasonally light trading activity during the past week.
Both canaryseed and sunflower markets were flat in grower and inter dealer markets, while white proso millet experienced modest strength.
Planting of this year's canaryseed crop remains behind last year, reflecting a slow start. As of May 25, around 78% of Canada's crop was in the ground, compared to 89% last year and the recent average of 87%.
