Lithuania's Field Pea Exports Open On Soft Tendency
PANAMA - May 15/20 - SNS -- Lithuania's exports of field peas during March sank versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Export sales for the month reached 1,462 metric tons (MT), down from 39,549 MT the previous month. This lifted export sales so far during the calendar year to 63,214, down 13% last year.
Germany was the most important destination for the month, taking 448 MT. Poland was the second most important destination receiving 354 MT, followed by Netherlands at 299 MT.
