Field Pea Exports From Russia Record A Improved Result
PANAMA - May 12/20 - SNS -- Shipments of field peas for Russia rocketed compared to the previous month in February, recent data from Federal Customs Service of Russia shows.
Total shipments in the month amounted to 41,425 metric tons (MT), up 118% from the previous month's total of 18,988. So far movement has amounted to 60,413 MT, down from 67,759 during the last calendar year.
Italy was the most important buyer, taking 13,597 MT. Pakistan was the second most important importer taking 13,509 MT, followed by Turkey at 5,048 MT.
