Chickpea Exports From Russia Open With Firm Note
PANAMA - May 12/20 - SNS -- Shipments of chickpeas for Russia posted decent increases, moving compared to the previous month in February, data from Federal Customs Service of Russia reveals.
Exports totalled 33,357 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 18% from the 28,284 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 61,641 MT, versus 44,619 during the previous calendar year.
The latest movement data reported Turkey was top importer, buying 11,777 MT. Pakistan was the second most important destination receiving 9,013 MT, followed by Other at 2,489 MT.
