Australia's Broadbean Exports Open On Easy Note

PANAMA - May 7/20 - SNS -- Australia's exports of broadbeans in March dropped versus the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Shipments for the month totalled 55,666 metric tons (MT), down from 62,755 MT the previous month. This boosted exports so far during the marketing year to 207,605, down 1% last year.

The latest trade data reported Egypt was biggest buyer, buying 39,671 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination taking 7,064 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 2,006 MT.
