Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Start With Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Apr 20/20 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Spain shrank versus the previous month in February, data from Eurostat shows.

Imports reached 3,402 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 77% from the 15,022 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 18,423 MT, compared to 23,126 in the same period the last calendar year.

The latest trade data revealed China was largest origin, selling 1,698 MT. United States was the second most important export origin selling 920 MT, followed by Argentina at 624 MT.
