Few Changes in Field Peas
PANAMA - Apr 13/20 - SNS -- International field pea markets were little changed during the past week, though processors and exporters remain active fulfilling sales commitments.
Movement from farms remains at high levels, with Canadian growers delivering 65% of all peas available on their farms to the bulk handling system at of April 5, compared to 60% by the same time last year.
The bulk handling system accounted for 70% of all exports between August and February. Exports during that period were up roughly 406,000 metric tons (MT) over last season.
