Modest Gain in Sugarbeet Area
WASHINGTON - Mar 31/20 - SNS -- Area expected to be planted to sugarbeets for the 2020 crop year is estimated at 1.14 million acres, up 1% from 2019, according to the USDA.
Intended acreages are above the previous year in 5 of the 11 estimating States.
