Chickpeas in Holding Pattern
PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Chickpea markets were unchanged to lower in limited international and domestic trading activity during the past week.
Though international supplies of large caliber product is expected to be constrained this year, there remains an abundance of medium and small caliber kabuli chickpeas.
International desi chickpea markets were somewhat weaker during the past week because of reduced short term demand from the Indian subcontinent.
