Sideways Tone in Mustard

PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets remained mostly unchanged in spot markets during the past week, with grower selling interest remaining closely balanced with the short term needs of processors and exporters.

Most international currencies were battered during the past week, with values sinking relative to the U.S. dollar.

This has the potential to create more intense price competition between origins. At the same time, processors and exporters who do not maintain currency hedging strategies face increased risks on deferred sales.
