Spain's Field Pea Imports Start On Firm Tone
PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in January leapt compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
The latest data showed imports for the month totalled 4,158 metric tons (MT), up 180% from 1,487 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, imports are up 60% from 2,595 MT.
France was the biggest supplier, selling 3,876 MT. Canada was the second most important export origin selling 234 MT, followed by United States at 22 MT.
