Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Post A Improved Performance
PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Are beginning this calendar year recorded a a better performance, with field pea exports for Lithuania rocketed compared to the previous month in January, according to official statistics from Eurostat.
The most recent statistics showed export sales for the month totalled 22,203 metric tons (MT), up 204% from 7,299 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, exports were down 6% from 23,663 MT.
Current movement statistics revealed Belgium was most important importer, buying 20,280 MT during the month. Poland was the second most important buyer buying 884 MT, followed by Germany at 418 MT.
