Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Open On Easy Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Shipments of confection sunflowers for Bulgaria posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month in January, the latest data from Eurostat shows.
Movement during the opening month of the calendar year totalled 14,875 metric tons (MT), down 56% from 33,810 MT the previous month. The statistics showed shipments is down 61% from the 37,715 MT recorded in the same month last year.
The most recent trade statistics reported United States was biggest importer, buying 8,089 MT. China was the second most important importer taking 2,731 MT, followed by Australia at 740 MT.
