Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Start With Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Romania's exports of oil-type sunflowers during January plunged versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.

Movement for the opening month of the calendar year totalled 2 metric tons (MT), down 100% from 179,778 MT the previous month. The data revealed movement is down 100% from the 108,449 MT reported in the same month last year.

The most important buyer throughout the month was Australia, buying 2 MT. Canada was the second most important consumer buying 0 MT, followed by Switzerland at 0 MT.
