Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Open On Weak Tone

PANAMA - Mar 20/20 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in January posted massive declines, sinking versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.

The latest data showed imports for the month totalled 1,726 metric tons (MT), down 94% from 30,058 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, imports are down 94% from 28,344 MT.

Moldova was the biggest supplier, selling 674 MT. China was the second most important exporter supplying 560 MT, followed by Turkey at 431 MT.
