Lentil Tone Remains Easier
PANAMA - Feb 28/20 - SNS -- Lentil markets maintained their easy tone through the past week, with some weakness evident in green lentils against limited new buying interest.
Bulk loadings of red lentils for export continued, despite last month's railway blockades, with shippers consuming inventory that was already in store their facilities or able to move through the system.
Markets are looking for the coming week's official export data for both Canada and the United States for the first half of the marketing year to gain a better sense of inventory levels.
