Mixed Tone In Chickpeas

PANAMA - Feb 24/20 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their mixed tone during the past week, with India starting to emerge as a seller of its new crop production.

Price indications from some exporters remain discounted to nominal values for Mexican origin kabuli chickpeas. However, this is not unusual because of differences in overall quality.

Desi chickpea finished the week's trading on a generally easier note against easing demand from net importing countries.
