Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Reveal Slow Month
PANAMA - Feb 14/20 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers in December sank versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports throughout the month reached 13,434 metric tons (MT), down 23% from the previous month's total of 17,345. So far imports have totalled 242,612 MT, up from 239,103 during the previous calendar year.
France was the biggest shipper, shipping 10,285 MT. China was the second most important exporter shipping 890 MT, followed by Argentina at 689 MT.
