Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Reveal Slow Month
PANAMA - Feb 14/20 - SNS -- Bulgaria's export shipments of confection sunflowers during December shrank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Export sales reached 11,540 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 74% from the 43,974 MT shipped the previous month. Exports so far total 394,207 MT, versus 332,215 during the previous calendar year.
During the month, United States was the most important consumer, receiving 5,087 MT. China was the second most important importer taking 1,634 MT, followed by Norway at 1,032 MT.
