Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Record Weak Performance
PANAMA - Feb 14/20 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Germany sank versus the previous month in December, the latest data from Eurostat shows.
Imports during the month reached 1,712 metric tons (MT), down from 31,267 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 283,107, up 20% last year.
Turkey was the top exporter for the month, selling 635 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter shipping 494 MT, followed by China at 459 MT.
