Russia's Field Pea Exports Maintain Soft Trend
PANAMA - Feb 3/20 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year extended their softer tone, with field pea movement for Russia were slightly lower, falling relative to the previous month in November, judging from recent statistics from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Export sales for the month reached 50,124 metric tons (MT), down from 54,044 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 555,588, down 48% last year.
India was the number one buyer for the month, buying 17,348 MT. Pakistan was the second most important importer receiving 8,981 MT, followed by Latvia at 6,055 MT.
