Canada's Green Pea Exports Unchanged For Month
PANAMA - Jan 7/20 - SNS -- So far during the current marketing year, with green pea shipments for Canada remained compared to the previous month in November, according to the most recent data from Statistics Canada.
Shipments for the month totalled 35,589 metric tons (MT), versus 35,706 MT the prior month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 93,545, down 16% last year.
During the month, India was the largest destination, receiving 10,309 MT. China was the second most important consumer taking 9,954 MT, followed by Nepal at 3,098 MT.
