Birdseeds Hold Firm
PANAMA - Dec 23/19 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets maintained their firm tone in limited trade as the calendar year draws to an end.
Markets for both white proso millet and Canadian canaryseed were unchanged on the week, with offers from growers remaining in line with the short term needs of processors and exporters.
The challenges face by sunflower growers in the United States has seen trading levels for oil type product rise significantly in recent weeks, while confection sunflower remain stable despite worries about available supplies.
