Field Pea Imports By Spain Extend Weak Trend
PANAMA - Dec 17/19 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year maintained their easier trend, with field pea imports for Spain plunged relative to the previous month in October, according to the latest data from Eurostat.
Total imports in the month amounted to 17,447 metric tons (MT), down 70% from the previous month's total of 57,440. So far imports have amounted to 184,183 MT, down from 515,463 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest trade data revealed Moldova was largest origin, shipping 6,034 MT. Ukraine was the second most important exporter selling 5,005 MT, followed by Romania at 4,950 MT.
