Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Netherlands Extend Weak Tone

PANAMA - Dec 17/19 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year kept up their weaker trend, with oil-type sunflower imports by Netherlands posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month in October, according to data from Eurostat.

Total imports in the month amounted to 488 metric tons (MT), down 99% from the previous month's total of 45,311. So far imports have totalled 375,535 MT, down from 844,878 during the previous calendar year.

The latest trade data revealed Turkey was number one exporter, selling 436 MT. Egypt was the second most important shipper supplying 50 MT, followed by China at 2 MT.
