Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Record Soft Month
PANAMA - Dec 17/19 - SNS -- Shipments of confection sunflowers from Bulgaria sank compared to the previous month in October, official trade data from Eurostat reports.
Export sales totalled 11,170 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 76% from the 46,562 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 303,223 MT, compared to 264,120 during the previous calendar year.
The most important importer for the month was United States, buying 3,037 MT. China was the second most important consumer buying 2,069 MT, followed by Norway at 986 MT.
