China's Field Pea Imports Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Dec 2/19 - SNS -- China's imports of field peas in October showed modest gains, advancing compared to the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports for the month reached 237,677 metric tons (MT), up from 219,797 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 1,542,742, down 7% last year.
Recent trade data revealed Canada was top origin, shipping 232,394 MT in the month. United States was the second most important supplier selling 2,872 MT, followed by France at 2,038 MT.
