PARIS - Nov 15/19 - SNS -- The pace of pea exports from France improved in September, according to data from Eurostat and Terres Univia.
Export shipments during September totalled 22,250 metric tons (MT), up 14% the 19,530 MT shipped the previous month, and up 71% from the 12,975 MT shipped the same month last year.
This lifted season to date export shipments to 59,480 MT, up 13% from the 52,520 MT shipped during the same period last season. So far this marketing year, European Union destinations accounted for 95.5% of all pea exports, compared to 98.3% last season.
