India's Field Pea Imports Post Weak Month
PANAMA - Nov 13/19 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year recorded a easier month, with field pea imports by India sank compared to the previous month in April, judging from the latest statistics from Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence & Statistics.
Imports for the month reached 97,675 metric tons (MT), down from 132,098 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 398,610, up 14% last year.
Canada was the largest origin for the month, selling 45,622 MT. Ukraine was the second most important supplier shipping 29,265 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 10,021 MT.
