Field Pea Imports By China Continue Easy Trend
PANAMA - Nov 5/19 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for China were little changed, easing versus the previous month in September, recent data from General Customs Administration of China reports.
Imports during the month totalled 219,595 metric tons (MT), down from 222,941 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 1,304,862, down 6% last year.
The largest exporter throughout the month was Canada, shipping 218,518 MT. France was the second most important supplier selling 550 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 286 MT.
