China's Sunflower Seed Exports Post Strong Result
PANAMA - Nov 5/19 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a stronger result, with sunflower seed export shipments from China rose slightly relative to the previous month in September, according to official trade data from General Customs Administration of China.
Shipments for the month totalled 8,291 metric tons (MT), up from 7,971 MT the previous month. This boosted export sales so far during the calendar year to 326,342, down 3% last year.
Current movement statistics showed Egypt was number one buyer, receiving 2,499 MT in the month. Vietnam was the second most important buyer taking 1,339 MT, followed by Spain at 731 MT.
