China's Field Pea Imports Record Strong Oucome
PANAMA - Oct 30/19 - SNS -- China's imports of field peas during August were up sharply, leaping versus the previous month, judging from data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports reached 222,739 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 144% from the 91,214 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 1,085,268 MT, compared to 1,267,582 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The most recent trade data showed Canada was largest origin, selling 218,626 MT. France was the second most important shipper supplying 3,393 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 352 MT.
