Birdseeds Generally Firmer
PANAMA - Oct 25/19 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were generally firmer on the week, reflecting concerns about available supplies of canaryseed and millet on farms.
There is a growing belief farmers have sold most of their remaining old crop canaryseed, suggesting markets will only have what is produced this year.
Slowing grower selling interest and expectations export demand will be essentially unchanged this season is starting to be reflected in growers bids for in both spot and deferred shipping positions.
