Quality Premiums Emerging in North America

PANAMA - Oct 4/19 - SNS -- International chickpea markets remain in a tight trading range, with supplies of smaller caliber product remaining abundant relative to prospective demand.

The North American harvest is making relatively good progress in the United States, but continued to be delayed by poor weather throughout much of September.

Processors expect farmers to make good progress through the beginning of the coming week, which will help them assess the quality of the crop.
