Spain's Field Pea Imports Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Sep 13/19 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in July advanced compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports throughout the month reached 42,112 metric tons (MT), up 5% from the previous month's total of 780. So far imports have amounted to 65,390 MT, down from 319,369 in the same period the last calendar year.
Recent trade statistics showed Romania was largest origin, selling 28,652 MT during the month. Russia was the second most important exporter shipping 5,498 MT, followed by Ukraine at 4,810 MT.
