VANCOUVER - Sep 11/19 - STAT -- United States Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 43% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas was USD$20.02 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $35.01 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $21.20 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $18.50 per cwt in November.
