United States Red Lentil Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 11/19 - STAT -- United States Red Lentil markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 18% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Red Lentil was USD$13.89 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $16.86 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $15.18 per cwt in February, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $12.20 per cwt in October.
