Field Pea Imports By China Maintain Easy Trend
PANAMA - Sep 10/19 - SNS -- China's imports of field peas in July eased versus the previous month, according to data from General Customs Administration of China.
Imports for the month reached 91,012 metric tons (MT), down from 112,680 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 862,327, down 19% last year.
In the month, Canada was the largest supplier, selling 88,222 MT. France was the second most important origin shipping 1,888 MT, followed by New Zealand at 509 MT.
