China's Sunflower Seed Exports Record Weak Performance
PANAMA - Sep 10/19 - SNS -- Movement of sunflower seeds from China posted significant declines, slumping relative to the previous month in July, the most recent data from General Customs Administration of China reveals.
Movement totalled 13,344 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 53% from the 28,567 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 310,080 MT, compared to 303,109 during the last calendar year.
Recent trade data showed Iran was number one buyer, receiving 3,730 MT during the month. United Arab Emirates was the second most important destination taking 1,214 MT, followed by Indonesia at 1,109 MT.
