Field Pea Imports By Spain Post Strong Oucome
PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year recorded a impeoved result, with field pea imports for Spain made major gains, advancing compared to the previous month in June, judging from available statistics from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 780 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 43% from the 544 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 23,278 MT, compared to 223,251 during the previous calendar year.
For the month, France was the number one supplier, shipping 733 MT. Canada was the second most important shipper selling 22 MT, followed by China at 20 MT.
