Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Record Slow Performance
PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Germany sank compared to the previous month in June, the latest data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports for the month reached 1,231 metric tons (MT), down from 31,742 MT the prior month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 121,554, up 32% last year.
Moldova was the number one export origin, supplying 538 MT. Turkey was the second most important supplier selling 340 MT, followed by China at 290 MT.
