Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Maintain Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- Romania's exports of oil-type sunflowers during June fell sharply versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.

Exports for the month reached 2,807 metric tons (MT), down from 60,415 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 604,062, down 11% last year.

In the month, Turkey was the top buyer, taking 2,700 MT. Moldova was the second most important importer buying 88 MT, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina at 15 MT.
