VANCOUVER - Aug 1/19 - STAT -- Canadian 10mm Kabuli Chickpea markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 45% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for 10mm Kabuli Chickpea was CDN$596.09 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $1075.02 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $688.93 per MT in February, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $520.28 per MT in August.
