Large Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/19 - STAT -- Canadian Large Yellow Pea markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 10% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Yellow Pea was CDN$255.05 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $282.78 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $275.58 per MT in January, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $231.48 per MT in August.
