India's Field Pea Imports Reveal Easy Performance
PANAMA - Jul 23/19 - SNS -- India's imports of field peas during April fell versus the previous month, according to data from Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence & Statistics.
Imports reached 97,675 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 26% from the 132,098 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 398,610 MT, versus 351,032 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Recent movement data revealed Canada was biggest export origin, selling 45,622 MT during the month. Ukraine was the second most important origin supplying 29,265 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 10,021 MT.
