Mung Bean Imports By India Record Easy Month
PANAMA - Jul 23/19 - SNS -- India's imports of mung beans in April shrank versus the previous month, according to data from Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence & Statistics.
Total imports in the month amounted to 10,370 metric tons (MT), down 82% from the previous month's total of 58,462. So far imports have reached 113,295 MT, up from 21,054 during the last calendar year.
The latest movement statistics reported Myanmar was top supplier, supplying 7,161 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important origin selling 1,977 MT, followed by Singapore at 749 MT.
