Spain's Field Pea Imports Continue Easy Trend
PANAMA - Jul 16/19 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Spain eased relative to the previous month in May, data from Eurostat shows.
Imports for the month reached 544 metric tons (MT), down from 635 MT the previous month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 22,497, down 78% last year.
Recent movement statistics revealed France was most important exporter, selling 482 MT during the month. Canada was the second most important origin supplying 21 MT, followed by Czech Republic at 15 MT.
