WASHINGTON - Jul 11/19 - SNS -- The 2019 apricot crop is forecast at 64,500 tons, up 63% from last year, according to the latest USDA production forecast for 2019.
In California, growers reported good conditions with sufficient chill hours and additional precipitation this year. In Washington, some growers reported freeze damage from low February temperatures.
